Doug Williams is a well respected Construction Coordinator located in San Francisco. Since 1997, he has been specializing in TV and Feature Film Construction. His notable skill in implementing conceptual design has earned him a reputation as one of the Bay Area's premiere scenery builders.
Born and raised in San Francisco, Doug's career began in 1985 on his first feature film. He spent many years thereafter working not only on various films and TV shows, but a great deal of time in the theatrical scene shops in San Francisco. Doug has also spent time working as a special effects technician. His affinity for mechanical projects and his technical background, have led him to manage the construction of some of the largest and most structural film sets ever done in the Bay Area.
Doug's interest in all things construction also led him to earn a license from the State Contractors Licensing Board in California.
Doug has also spent many hours as an automotive enthusiast where he excelled. He even earned 5 certifications from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. For a short time, Doug owned and operated Brentwood Tire Company. He continues his automotive work through his son's blossoming racing career.
